Blade: Wharncliff whittling blade. A knife blade made for whittling, 45 mm long. 9-10 mm wideThe blade is made from carbon steel, 26C3. The blade has been crafted in Sweden by legendary bladesmith Kay Embretsen.

Additional trim includes bog oak has been dug up from the Lincolnshire fens and carefully air dried then kiln dried before being quarter sawn to give a beautifully contrasting pattern.
Radio carbon dating has shown these ancient giant oaks to be around 3300BC.
Leather: The knife is being sold with a handstitched leather slip. The leather is vegetable tanned so no nasty chemicals used in the process
