Blades: 
 
Carving knife- Handforged blade 45mm long. The blade is made with a carbon steel center, and mild steel on the sides. This makes the blade easy to sharpen. The handle starts with a piece of stunning English yew followed by 5000 year old bog oak from the Lincolnshire fens then finished with a piece of English yew burr
 
Hook knife- The blade made by Wood Tools from a high alloy steel, very hard and tough so they hold an edge for a long time. They come razor sharp and ready to use. This is the right handed blade with an open almost symmetrical curve. This blade is great for finishing cuts on a spoon running down rather than across the grain. The handle is crafted from a stunning piece 5000 year old bog oak from the Lincolnshire fens. The bog oak has been dug up from the Lincolnshire fens and carefully air dried then kiln dried before being quarter sawn to give a beautifully contrasting pattern.
 
Leather- The knives are being sold with a handstitched leather blade slips. The leather is a thick full grain shoulder in a dark tan or black colour and is stitched by hand using a saddle stitch with a thick tan waxed thread.
