Available is a stunning 50mm damascus carving knife made from stunning English Yew with mammoth tusk insert
 
Blade: The blade has been designed by Ash & Axe and forge welded across the pond in the USA by an experienced bladesmith from 15N20 and 1095  steel core made up of 200 layers and is 50mm long giving the blade a stunning patternation and mirror finish cutting face.
 
Handle: The handle is crafted from a stunning piece of yew from Suffolk & the addition of 5000 year old bog oak from the Lincolnshire fens and Elm from Norfolk
 
In the rear of the handle has been inserted a disc of wooly mammoth tusk over 8000 years old. The insert has been cut from the outer part of the tusk known as the bark so it would have been in direct contact with its surroundings thousands of years ago!
 
Leather: The knife is being sold with a handstitched leather blade slip or a sheath is available as an option or contact me for further sheath options.
