Available is a stunning ancient bog oak handled spoon carving knife
 
Knife blade: The blade made by Wood Tools from a high alloy steel, very hard and tough so they hold an edge for a long time. They come razor sharp and ready to use. This is the right handed blade with a compound gradually tightening curve that I find a good all round shape for everything from shallow spoons to ladles and kuksas.
 
Handle: The handle is crafted from a stunning piece 5000 year old bog oak from the Lincolnshire fens.
 
The bog oak has been dug up from the Lincolnshire fens and carefully air dried then kiln dried before being quarter sawn to give a beautifully contrasting pattern.
 
Radio carbon dating has shown these ancient giant oaks to be around 3300BC.
 
Sheath: The knife comes with a leather blade sheath
