Available is a stunning 40mm carving knife made from Red deer antler
Blade: Blade: O2 carbon steelHardness: 60hrc ±1. length: 42mm. thickness: 2,5mm
Note: this blade is very fine and should not be used for prying
Handle: The handle is crafted from a stunning piece of Red deer antler from the woods of Suffolk with beautiful patternation and signs of fighting
Additional trim includes bog oak which has been dug up from the Lincolnshire fens and carefully air dried then kiln dried before being quarter sawn to give a beautifully contrasting pattern.
Radio carbon dating has shown these ancient giant oaks to be around 3300BC.
Additional trim includes English cherry from Norfolk
Leather: The knife is being sold with a handstitched leather blade slip sheath. The leather is vegetable tanned so no nasty chemicals used in the process
