Available is a stunning 65mm damascus carving knife made from stunning Red deer antler

 

Blade: The blade has been designed by Ash & Axe and forge welded across the pond in the USA by an experienced bladesmith from 15N20 and 1095  steel core made up of 200 layers and is 65mm long giving the blade a stunning patternation and mirror finish cutting face.

 

Handle: The handle is crafted from a stunning piece of Red Deer antler from the fields and forests of Suffolk with additional dark black bog oak from Lincolnshire and spalted beech from Cambridgeshire trim

 

The bog oak has been dug up from the Lincolnshire fens and carefully air dried then kiln dried. Radio carbon dating has shown these ancient giant oaks to be around 3300BC.

 

In the rear of the handle has been inserted a piece of brass tubing and additional length of handcut shoulder of vegetable tanned leather is provided.

 

Leather: The knife is being sold with a handstitched leather blade slip or a sheath is available as an option or contact me for further sheath options.
